Teaching is a lonely job, so get out there

Teaching is interesting in a way where you are always surrounded by people but it’s also a very lonely job. You essentially go to work by yourself and most tasks are done independently. Which is why it is so important to cultivate your own community. Whether it be with peers, finding a mentor, joining communities/forums, training, workshops and expos. I really recommend making connections and networking with people. It could start as easy as going to different studios for your self mastery and getting to know the instructor or attending further training. You’d be surprised at how many people feel the same way and sharing your experiences with each other is just another way to improve your teaching.
