Simple cues

There are so many ways to cue! They are all valid, but what if you could only say the bare minimum – what would that look like? Honestly, this is a HARD SKILL TO MASTER!

Here’s a little test - Can you try and use the least possible number of words to achieve what you’d like your client to do?

Well lucky there is a simple formula. It’s verb + body part + direction.

Here are a few examples. For set-up, you can say “Sit on your heels facing the street” / “lie on your side with feet towards the bar” etc

For movement pattern, keep it simple, like “Lift your arms up” / “step right foot back”

Once you have done that – you can then add in all the extra flourishes!
